The Toyota Hilux is a truck not often seen on these shores, but it is a serious participant in the rest of the world. More importantly, it’s a relative of the Tacoma pickup, which cut up off from the long-working mannequin in the nineties. The two trucks are now fairly distinct, and American prospects would discover the Hilux system somewhat unusual.
A product of the early part of the decade, the Ferrari 288 GTO was developed to satisfy FIA Group B rules, probably for a run in rally races. It pushed the 308 GTB’s platform to a brand site (hackfabmake.space) new level, making adjustments like mounting the engine longitudinally and slapping two turbos into the combo.
